It is the only steel enterprise in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to receive this honor.

Baogang Wanteng Steel Co., Ltd. of Wuhai City has been selected as a nationally recognized steel industry regulated enterprise, which is an important outcome of the city’s information technology departments providing forward-leaning service, precise guidance, and full-scale cultivation. It is also a vivid reflection of the enterprise’s diligent internal work, regulated development, and efforts to improve quality and efficiency. In recent years, the Municipal Information Technology Bureau has focused on high-quality development in the steel industry, proactively aligned with enterprise needs, and provided full-course tracking and precise efforts in policy interpretation, benchmarking and qualification attainment, regulatory improvement, and application guidance. It has helped enterprises make up for shortcomings, strengthen weak areas, and raise their level, promoting comprehensive compliance and upgrades in areas such as process and equipment, environmental protection, resource consumption, safe production, and quality management.

This selection signifies that Baogang Wanteng Steel Co., Ltd. of Wuhai City has taken the lead in the autonomous region in green and low-carbon, intelligent and efficient, and safe regulated development, and has entered the national regulated formation. This is not only the fruitful result of the enterprise’s own development, but also a vivid practice of our city’s efforts to advance the high-end, intelligent, and green transformation of the steel industry.

The Municipal Information Technology Bureau said it will continue to strengthen services and implement targeted measures, support the enterprise to seize the momentum, forge ahead, and remain steadfast in its efforts. It will keep a close focus on higher standards and stricter requirements, and make every effort to complete the sprint for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s steel industry “leading-type enterprise” access recognition. By using national-level benchmarks to drive industrial upgrading, it will help promote the high-quality growth and efficiency improvements of our city’s industrial economy.
