Before the age of 40, if a person has the ability to self-reflect, they are often more likely to succeed and achieve greatness. Because the earlier you learn to reflect, the more you can continuously correct yourself and accumulate experience. In reality, most people tend to only reflect after encountering setbacks, hitting walls, or messing things up, learning lessons from failure. A very accomplished entrepreneur once said: If a person only starts to truly reflect after 40, it's often a bit late; but if someone can continue to reflect after 40, they won't be too bad either. Unfortunately, many people before 40 tend to be very proud, unwilling to accept criticism, quick to argue with others, and to bring up old issues. This lack of reflection actually limits their growth.
