ME News report. On March 31 (UTC+8), U.S. Secretary of Defense Hegseth held a press conference with the Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Dan Kane, regarding military operations against Iran. Dan Kane said that over the past 30 days, the joint combat forces have carried out strikes on more than 11,000 targets. They have successfully launched the first batch of B-52 bomber combat missions targeting inland deep-penetration areas. In addition, Kane said that their strike focus is gradually shifting to “dynamic targets,” meaning conducting immediate strikes against targets that are continuously moving within the operational area.
