On April 1, Lenovo Group’s 2026/27 fiscal year kickoff meeting was held in Beijing. At the meeting, Lenovo Group Chairman and CEO Yang Yuanqing announced that Lenovo will fully transform into an AI-native company, saying, “AI is not an add-on project, not an extra layer, and not something to be patched in afterward,” and requiring that everything—from product design to business processes—be rebuilt with artificial intelligence at the core.

Yang Yuanqing defined the new fiscal year as the year of “AI delivery.” The goal is to deliver personal-intelligence and enterprise-intelligence products to customers, improve the ecosystem, and establish Lenovo’s leading position in the field of hybrid artificial intelligence. Yang Yuanqing revealed that devices equipped with Lenovo Qira will begin shipping globally this month, and the Tianxi personal superintelligent agent will also complete a new round of iteration.
