Ten departments: Artificial intelligence technology activities should incorporate ethical requirements throughout the entire process

A notice from ten departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on issuing the 《Interim Measures for the Ethical Review of Artificial Intelligence Technology and Services》. When carrying out artificial intelligence technology activities, scientific and ethical requirements should be implemented throughout the entire process, and the following principles of ethical review for artificial intelligence technology should be followed: promoting human well-being, respecting the right to life, adhering to fairness and justice, reasonably controlling risks, maintaining openness and transparency, protecting privacy and security, and ensuring that artificial intelligence technology is controllable and trustworthy; compliance with the Constitution of China, laws and regulations, and relevant provisions is required.
