Iran reiterates that response actions are not aimed at regional countries, calls on all parties to maintain a cautious stance

On March 30 local time, at a regular press conference, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Baghaei said that the actions taken by Iran fall under self-defense and are not targeted at regional countries. He urged relevant parties to distinguish between the issues, emphasizing that Iran’s actions should not be seen as hostile acts toward any country. He also said he hopes neighboring countries will comply with their obligations under international law, moral responsibility, and the principles of good-neighborliness, and will not allow their territory and facilities to be used by the United States and Israel to launch attacks against neighboring countries.
