I just was on Line 7 of the subway and it was unbearable. Delays of over 25 minutes, crowded people in Polanco and Tacubaya as if there were no tomorrow. I don’t know what’s going on, but they took a train out for maintenance and obviously everything got worse.
The strange thing is that according to the Metro, they will speed up the service in the next few minutes. In the meantime, Line 7 remains a chaos. And it’s not the only one, huh? Lines 1, 2, 3, 8, and the A also have high ridership. Basically, everything is packed.
If you need to get around the city, better plan your trips in advance. On Line 2, they are also doing renovation work, so San Antonio Abad, Chabacano, and Viaducto stations close after 10 p.m. The Zócalo remains open at least, but the subway has been really complicated lately.
