On April 2, according to The Block, the live prediction market platform Pumpcade has completed a $1.0 million seed round pre-financing, led by Pump.fun, with participation from Foundation Capital and angel investor RadioSolace. This round of funding will be used to expand the engineering team and advance its go-live strategy, in preparation for exiting the private testing stage.

Pumpcade allows users to create prediction markets with a single click in livestream chat, covering a wide range of topics such as cryptocurrency prices, stocks, sports events, and real-time traffic conditions. It compresses the full lifecycle of prediction markets into a time frame of 60 seconds to 30 minutes. In terms of settlement mechanics, the platform settles through direct connections to official APIs or deterministic data sources to reduce counterparty risk and eliminate the window for disputes.
