Bank of Communications Life Insurance's net profit in 2025 is 1.389 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 35.82%.
On March 27, information disclosed by Bank of Communications in its 2025 performance report shows that at the end of the reporting period, Bocom Life’s total assets were 174.559 billion yuan, and its net assets were 9.879 billion yuan. During the reporting period, Bocom Life cumulatively achieved insurance service revenue of 2.511 billion yuan, up 13.50% year over year; generated operating income of 9.604 billion yuan, up 20.73% year over year; and recorded a net profit of 1.389 billion yuan, up 35.82% year over year.
During the reporting period, Bocom Life leveraged its professional strengths in insurance, actively aligned itself with the Group’s development strategy, and continued to deepen its three business highlights: “inclusive coverage, retirement, and wealth management.” At year-end, the inclusive insurance covered 366,000 people and, for the third consecutive year, participated in the co-insurance work for “Huibao” (city-customized commercial medical insurance). At year-end, the number of policies on the retirement insurance stock exceeded 71,000 policies; the in-force scale was nearly 13.75 billion yuan; and the personal pension insurance business cumulatively underwrote more than 31,000 policies.
