WTI crude oil futures price rose 10% to $110.08 per barrel; Brent crude oil futures price rose 8.06% to $109.32 per barrel. Earlier, in a speech by U.S. President Trump, no details were mentioned about restarting the Strait of Hormuz, saying that the U.S. military would launch an extremely fierce strike against Iran within the next two to three weeks. On Thursday, sources said that because Ukraine’s strikes on port infrastructure, pipelines, and refineries have weakened export capacity by about 1 million barrels per day (about one-fifth of total capacity), Russia’s oil production cuts are imminent.
