Interactive Tutorial | Autonomous IP Layer 1 "Camp Network" How to Master On-Chain AI Creation?
Author: momo, ChainCatcher
Recently, the on-chain AI creation event jointly organized by Camp Network, an autonomous IP Layer 1 blockchain, together with MERV, StoryChain, and Rob Feldman has attracted a large number of users to participate.
According to Camp Network’s official Twitter data, within just a few days after the event launched, it has already attracted more than 50,000 users to participate and 125,000 times of IP secondary creation.
Camp Network can be said to be one of the more popular interactive projects in the community in recent days. In May this year, Camp Network launched the K2 testnet and simultaneously kicked off the “Summit Series” event. Users explore the ecosystem dApps through on-chain tasks and receive points rewards. This on-chain AI creation event is also one of the “Summit Series” activities from the testnet.
This article will briefly outline the overview of Camp Network and provide an interactive tutorial for the on-chain AI creation event.
In the AI Agent wave, building an autonomous IP-specific Layer1
With the rapid development of AI, creators are facing increasingly serious IP management problems. A large number of models are trained using content without authorization, causing creators to lose control over their intellectual property (IP), as well as visibility and revenue.
In high-frequency AI-generated content scenarios, traditional IP management approaches have long been incompatible, and issues such as unclear ownership, rampant piracy, and license disputes have become even more prominent.
As AI agents gradually replace traditional information processing methods, users’ own IP and vertical AI agents fine-tuned based on it have become the core value. However, the market lacks solutions specifically designed for combining IP and AI, making it unable to meet creators’ needs for rights protection in the digital economy.
Targeting this market gap, Camp Network is building a Layer1 focused on autonomous IP, and designed to support AI agents that are backed by user identities.
According to Camp Network’s whitepaper, its key highlights include:
Support for IP tokenization: Anyone can put music, images, videos, personal data, and other IP on-chain, use it for AI training, and earn rewards.
No-Gas registration and royalties: On-chain IP and royalty splits are exempt from Gas fees—low cost and high efficiency.
Isolated execution environment: Dedicated environments for AI agents and automated licensing, flexible and efficient.
Support for dedicated application chains: Developers can launch independent chains with their own block space and computing power, suitable for high-performance needs.
Camp Network states that over the next few months, with the mainnet launch, it will introduce dozens of new applications covering areas such as music, entertainment, and social media. At present, its ecosystem partners have served more than 5 million users.
Interactive tutorial for the on-chain AI creation event
Camp Network’s on-chain AI creation event includes three sections: social tasks, MERV tasks, and StoryChain tasks. The detailed tutorial is as follows:
Social tasks
Follow Merv, Merv Toon, and Storychain on the X platform; join Storychain’s Discord and Telegram
MERV tasks
1、Log in
In addition to logging in with Web3 wallets such as Metamask and Rainbow, you can also choose Web2 login methods such as X or Google accounts. After selecting the latter and following the steps prompted by the platform, it will help you generate an on-chain wallet through the Para identity protocol.
2、On the home page, click “faucet” in the top-right corner to claim test tokens. (If you already have test tokens, you can ignore this.)
3、On the home page, click “Generate Cyko KO IP” and choose the role you like.
4、After the role is generated, click “Collect & Mint NFT” and select to complete minting.
5、Share the new role you minted on the X platform.
6、Click “Bring to life on Storychain” to jump to
StoryChain tasks
1、Enter
2、Click “Create New” in the top-right corner.
3、Choose a role.
You can choose a “Standard role” or a “MERV role.” If you choose a “Standard role,” there are two roles to choose from—select one of them.
If you use a role generated by MERV, users who log in with the same wallet as on the MERV platform, the role will be displayed automatically. You can also search for your MERV role by wallet address.
4、Complete the storyline creation.
Name the character → Select a gender (if applicable) → Input a comic plot prompt → Click “Create Comic!”
If you don’t know how to write a comic plot, you can use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Deepseek to assist with writing.
5、Wait for the storyline to be generated and complete the comic creation.
