Musk posted a series of tweets on the social platform X on Thursday, hinting that Tesla plans to release or develop a new product. Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian replied to a post about Tesla possibly launching a three-row-seat SUV, saying that “business dads” need “three rows to fit the whole family.” Musk reposted Ohanian’s post. Musk also responded to a post by user Keller Cliffton, which shared a screenshot from a study indicating that being unable to install three child safety seats in the back seat of a car would lead to a lower probability of having a third child. In his reply, Musk said, “We should address this problem.” In another post, Musk responded to a prediction from user Ryan Peterson. Peterson predicted that if Tesla were to introduce a model with “three-row seating, with two separate doors per row, so people don’t have to climb over others to get in,” it could “spark a baby boom.” Musk replied, “Understood.” Earlier, a user urged Tesla to roll out an MPV aimed at family users, and Musk responded that the electric-vehicle giant is working on a model that is “way cooler than an MPV.” Shortly afterward, leaked images of the vehicle’s framework appeared on social media, showing that it would have more rear space and larger windows.
