On April 1, according to reports from India’s NDTV, the Deputy Speaker of the Iranian Parliament stated: ‘The Strait of Hormuz will not be opened. We have not held any negotiations and will not in the future. The decision on war, peace, and negotiations rests with the Supreme Leader, and no permission for negotiations has been granted at this time.’
