Saw this interesting move - IMC Trading just brought on Alex Casimo as their Chief Commercial Officer for the crypto side of things. He started in London recently and apparently his job is to scale up their institutional crypto operations. Pretty interesting given IMC's already massive - they're trading on like 50 different exchanges with something like $3 billion in daily volume. Alex Casimo has solid pedigree too, co-founded Portofino Technologies and spent time at Citadel Securities before this. Feels like another signal that traditional finance players are really getting serious about digital assets now. Better regulations, more infrastructure, and institutional demand just keeps growing. Makes sense they're bringing in someone with Alex Casimo's background to lead that charge.
