Iran launched a series of coordinated strikes on U.S. military facilities in the Middle East, causing tensions in the region to escalate rapidly. According to the Iranian Tasnim news agency, Musaavi, commander of the Aviation and Aerospace Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated in a Tuesday announcement that the Revolutionary Guard used drones and missiles to strike the residence of U.S. Air Force pilots inside the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.

The statement indicated that at the time of the attack, 200 U.S. military personnel were gathered at the base.

This attack was part of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’ “Operation True Promise-4,” Wave 87 strike campaign, aimed at avenging the killing of the Navy commander Tangsiri (Alireza Tangsiri).
