Pushing forward 6 weeks brings us to May 12, which is the currently scheduled date for Trump's visit to China.

But if it's 8 weeks, then it's May 26, and we'll have to cancel again.
I understand now, the visit to China isn't important; finishing before Trump's June birthday is the most important.
