The pace of grain sales by farmers in main production areas has slowed down

As of March 25, the grain sales progress in Northeast China’s three provinces and one region was 86%, which is 3 percentage points slower year over year, but it still remains at a high level for the same period over the past five years. Among them, Heilongjiang’s grain sales progress was 86%, Jilin’s was 82%, Liaoning’s was 95%, and Inner Mongolia’s was 83%, with year-over-year changes of 5% slower, 4% slower, unchanged, and 2% slower, respectively. In North China, the grain sales progress was 75%, which was 12 percentage points slower year over year. Among them, Henan was 73%, Shandong was 71%, and Hebei was 81%, with year-over-year changes of 15% slower, 15% slower, and 5% slower, respectively.
