Just found out Larry Fink's net worth hit $1.1 billion according to Forbes data from last year. That's wild for a CEO who started from regular compensation. His BlackRock salary alone runs $20-40 million annually, and in 2022 he pulled in over $32.7 million total - base salary, bonuses, stock awards, the whole package. The crazy part? His CEO pay was 212 times what the median BlackRock employee made that year. Looking at his actual holdings, Fink owns around 414k BlackRock shares. Even at older valuations, that position alone is worth over $315 million. So yeah, between his direct compensation and shareholdings, this guy's financial standing is pretty much in billionaire territory. Makes you wonder how many other mega-CEOs are quietly sitting on similar net worth levels.
