The average price of gasoline in the United States rises to the highest level in over 21 months.

As of March 11 local time, the latest data from the American Automobile Association shows that the average gasoline price in the United States has risen to $3.58 per gallon, the highest level in over 21 months. The data indicates that gasoline prices in the U.S. have increased by a total of 38 cents over the past week, and have risen by 64 cents over the past month, marking the largest weekly and monthly increases since March 2022. Currently, oil prices are up about 22% compared to a month ago. Meanwhile, diesel prices in the U.S. are rising even faster. The latest data shows that the average diesel price has increased by 5 cents to $4.89 per gallon, with a total increase of 79 cents over the past week. (CCTV News)
