30 Young Entrepreneurs Make the Zhongguancun U30 List

This report informs (Reporter Liu Suya) that at the Beijing International Youth Innovation and Development Forum held yesterday during the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Meeting, the 2025 Zhongguancun U30 list was released, featuring 30 young entrepreneurs from cutting-edge fields with an average age of 29. The recruitment and selection process for the 2026 cohort has also begun.

Among the 30 young entrepreneurs selected from cutting-edge fields, the youngest is only 21 years old. Yu Hao, representative of the Zhongguancun U30 initiators and CEO of Legend Holdings, introduced that 97% of the selected entrepreneurs focus on future industries and strategic emerging fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), humanoid robots, and life and health, aiming for domestic substitution, industry disruption, and even entirely new tracks. These companies, with an average age of only 1.8 years, have created nearly a thousand jobs, driving employment and innovation vitality.

Song Yachen, founder and CEO of the local tech company VAST, is one of the winners. His goal is to empower everyone to create and realize their own ideas through AI, 3D large models, and various AIGC (Generative Artificial Intelligence) technologies. A series of supporting policies and funds from Beijing help him achieve his dreams. He cites that model training requires vast computing power, and computing power subsidies are like “fuel”; talent policies covering essentials such as food, clothing, housing, and transportation help companies attract and retain the “strongest brains.”

He confidently stated that in just over half a year since the launch of the latest product, it has attracted about 6.5 million professional creators worldwide, generating over 100 million 3D models. In contrast, the total number of 3D models created in human history before this was less than 10 million.

The new round of recruitment and selection has started, continuing to focus on high-precision and cutting-edge industrial tracks, selecting young sci-tech “barriers breakers” under 35 with outstanding innovation capabilities, hard-core technological strength, and a spirit of daring to explore and try.

The Zhongguancun U30 event has been held for 11 years, building a vibrant and diverse “rainforest ecosystem” for young sci-tech innovation. So far, the event has identified nearly 7,000 young sci-tech talents, selected 309 outstanding individuals from home and abroad, and nurtured two listed companies and over 90 specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises.
