Russian Deputy Foreign Minister: Japan's push for "re-militarization" harms the security interests of neighboring countries

On March 29, People’s Financial News reported that according to Russian sources on the 28th, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Ryabkov stated that Japan’s continued push for “remilitarization” has a negative impact on the stability of the Asia-Pacific region and directly harms the security interests of neighboring countries, including Russia. The Russian side will closely monitor the current situation, and if Japan poses a challenge or threat to Russia’s Far Eastern border, Russia will take corresponding countermeasures.
