Deputy Minister of Finance Liao Min attended the unveiling ceremony of the China-World Bank Group Global Ecosystem and Transformation Center Office.

People’s Finance News, March 29 - On March 23, 2026, the unveiling ceremony of the China-World Bank Group Global Ecosystem and Transformation Center (hereinafter referred to as the “Global Center”) office was held at the World Bank’s (referred to as “WB”) representative office in China. Vice Minister of Finance Liao Min attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. More than 50 representatives from the World Bank, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Water Resources, as well as relevant international organizations, embassies in China, and domestic academia attended the event. Liao Min congratulated the official opening of the Global Center office and fully acknowledged the achievements made in the past year of the Global Center’s operations. He pointed out that China is willing to uphold the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, support the Global Center in carrying out flagship activities and thematic research centered on the “Two Mountains Theory,” vividly showcase China’s green development practices in all dimensions, help other developing countries achieve green development transformation, set an example for South-South knowledge cooperation, and contribute to the World Bank’s creation of a “knowledge bank.”
