BlockBeats News, March 28 — According to foreign media reports, two more oil tankers carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) have passed through the Strait of Hormuz leaving the Persian Gulf heading to India. According to vessel tracking data, the Indian-flagged BW Tyr and BW Elm tankers, both fully loaded with LPG, were last located near the northern end of the Arabian Peninsula. Throughout the voyage, both ships used transponders to emit signals indicating Indian ownership and Indian crew members, which has become a standard safety measure. India heavily relies on imports of LPG from the Persian Gulf and is facing a serious shortage of such fuels. (Jin10)
