Low volume signals the turn in prices. In an interview, Hexun Investment Consulting analyst Huang Jie said, “I’ve mentioned this before: when it’s below 2 trillion, it’s a process of low volume signaling the turn in prices—a bottoming period of sideways consolidation. As long as it doesn’t exceed 2 trillion, you don’t need to worry too much. I think you shouldn’t cut losses blindly anymore. That’s the first point.

Second, regarding Brent crude oil: when crude rises to around $100 per barrel, then gold and silver are also trending upward. So I think we actually won’t be able to fall much further. At the level of the Shanghai Composite Index, focusing mainly on individual stocks, everyone can hold on a bit while the low-volume, sideways price action gradually stabilizes and then slowly repairs. A lot of friends have told me that it might still plunge lower on Monday. What should you do about that? Don’t be overly worried.”
