On March 22, the “Talent Gathering in Tianfu · Dream Building in Chengdu” - “Rongpiao Talent Fair” series of talent recruitment events (Beijing Station) officially kicked off in Beijing, gathering over 200 top innovation platforms and key enterprises in the city, with around 5,000 quality job positions released, including dozens of positions with annual salaries exceeding one million.

This time, Chengdu issued an “invitation letter” in Beijing, showcasing impressive “talent recruitment moves” to attract a large number of young talents eager to seize their desired opportunities in Chengdu.

Whether it’s the city promotion conference or the 10 supporting special events, Chengdu demonstrated its sincere commitment to talent as a “park city under the snow-capped mountains,” highlighting the vigorous industrial vitality of an “innovative city in progress.”

As countless young job seekers candidly expressed during interviews, “The unique appeal of Chengdu lies in its ability to provide a warm place to live for every Rongpiao, while continuously creating career opportunities without ceilings. Choosing Chengdu is not just about job selection; it’s about choosing a desirable lifestyle.”

Precise “Recruitment”

When experts compete, they often strategize before taking action to capture fleeting opportunities with precision. From releasing quality job positions and holding specialized recruitment events to providing three thoughtful service packages, this “Rongpiao Talent Fair” city event has accurately aligned with the needs of young talents.

Looking at the quality job positions released by Chengdu in Beijing, positions such as Chief AI Technology Officer, Vice President of Low-altitude and Commercial Space, Large Model Algorithm Engineer, Director of Robotics Production Center, and Flight Control Algorithm Engineer all precisely match the latest industrial trends and market demand hotspots.

At the same time, senior management positions, professional technical positions, management trainee positions, and comprehensive positions were all available, with generous salary offers that accurately matched talents of different levels, truly achieving “career opportunities without ceilings.”

Journalists observed that based on local key industrial chain advantages, Chengdu also provided precise portraits of industry talents by hosting specialized recruitment fairs focusing on key industrial chains such as artificial intelligence, intelligent connected vehicles, and digital cultural creativity, as well as offline dual-selection fairs for outstanding young talents from Peking University and Tsinghua University, achieving a “magnetic attraction effect” between talents and industries.

“The recruitment scene was very lively, with high enthusiasm from everyone, and the talent matching was quite high. Through the recruitment event, everyone gained a deeper understanding of Chengdu’s industrial environment, leading to a ‘mutual pursuit’ of talents and the city by outstanding talents from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,” said Tan Shiyang, HRBP Manager at Chengdu Pioneer Drug Development Co., Ltd.

It is worth noting that this event also released the Chengdu Innovation and Entrepreneurship Scene Opportunities List, Talent Demand List, and the three major service packages of “Policy + Finance + Housing,” which accurately cover the complete cycle of “attracting talents” to “retaining talents” in the city.

For example, the talent policy service package follows the “one policy package per industrial chain” approach, integrating and publishing 277 policies across 17 key industrial chains on Chengdu’s smart talent service platform, simultaneously sorting out 46 categories of policy support targets, such as AI entrepreneurs needing computing power purchases and outstanding overseas university graduates, to quickly adapt the most commonly used and effective special policies, allowing talents to “spot” policies at a glance and access them with “one click.”

Industrial “Inner Strength”

If Chengdu’s talent recruitment in Beijing reflects “precision,” then the precision behind it is the “deep inner strength” of a city with a GDP exceeding 2.4 trillion yuan, known for its innovation and creativity.

In recent years, from “flying cars” to embodied intelligent robots, to the new generation of artificial suns; from globally sweeping cultural IP phenomena to waves of esports events, and surpassing 90 million annual airline passenger throughput… Chengdu has continuously released unique creativity and attractiveness while deeply promoting “establishing parks and filling them.”

This “Rongpiao Talent Fair” city event fully showcased Chengdu’s industrial foundation. From the lineup of exhibitors, it was a gathering of “top-tier” entities: national enterprises like the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Electronics Corporation, and Aviation Industry Corporation of China, along with high-energy platforms such as the National Tibet-Qinghai Railway Technology Innovation Center and Tianfu Jiangxi Laboratory made stunning appearances; representative teams from enterprises like Dongfang Electric, Tongwei Group, Pioneer Pharmaceuticals, Wuliangye, Tianfu Software Park, Wutong Technology, Lifang Group, and Xingyue Chenshi attracted the attention of young talents as soon as they took the stage.

“Chengdu has both a vibrant atmosphere and robust industries. From the aerospace engine to the overall layout of the aviation industry, Chengdu not only has industrial breadth but also industrial depth,” shared a recent graduate majoring in energy and power from Beijing Institute of Technology.

At the event, the “Chengdu Innovation and Entrepreneurship Scene Opportunities List” further showcased Chengdu’s “industrial depth”—10 major comprehensive scenes such as the Lujiaqiao Future Community and 50 high-value scenes like the intelligent driving open road network, covering multiple cutting-edge tracks such as artificial intelligence, low-altitude economy, and digital cultural tourism. For instance, the “Brain Valley of Western China” brain-computer interface scene can provide up to 20 million yuan in special policy support.

In the view of Peng Lei, founder and CEO of Gestalt Technology, Chengdu’s deep “industrial inner strength” is a crucial factor for his decision to settle there. “Brain-computer interfaces require abundant clinical resources, and Chengdu has excellent hospitals like West China Hospital and Sichuan Provincial People’s Hospital, with rich clinical resources. Chengdu’s industrial chain is complete, with full upstream and downstream support from electronic information to artificial intelligence.”

This New Year’s Day, the brain-computer interface company founded by Peng Lei officially settled in Chengdu High-tech Zone, and within just over two months, it completed a 150 million yuan angel round financing, setting a new record for the highest angel round financing in China’s brain-computer interface field.

Youth-Friendly “Path”

Precise “moves” and deep “inner strength” reflect Chengdu’s keen market trend capture and careful industrial layout.

However, observing from another dimension, this “Rongpiao Talent Fair” city event embodies Chengdu’s long-standing “thirst for talent,” and reflects a city that respects talents, is youth-friendly, and follows a more humanistic development logic.

In fact, since being approved as a national pilot city for youth development construction in 2022, Chengdu has consistently prioritized the construction of youth development-oriented cities. This is the “path” of youth friendliness that Chengdu adheres to. Currently, the city’s population aged 14-35 is nearly 7 million, accounting for about one-third of the permanent population, forming a pattern where “half the city is young.”

In the “New Year’s First Meeting” of 2026, Chengdu will focus on the high-quality development of key industrial chains, emphasizing “establishing parks and filling them” as a means of support for continuous innovation in high-quality industrial development, planning to attract over 400,000 industrial talents throughout the year, sounding the “assembly call” for the city’s talent recruitment work.

Entering March, the “Talent Gathering in Tianfu · Dream Building in Chengdu” - “Rongpiao Talent Fair” city event was fully launched, broadly issuing “invitation letters” to talents from home and abroad.

According to Wang Lei, chairman of Xingyue Chenshi, “The willingness of young talents to develop in Chengdu has been increasing year by year. What everyone values are Chengdu’s livable lifestyle, suitable atmosphere for striving, and strong policy support. This place offers an unparalleled work and living environment for creativity compared to other cities.”

Providing heartfelt protection for talents from their first encounter with Chengdu to settling down, from preparing a “bed” for young job seekers to ensuring a “room” for talents to take root, and building a “house” for talents to settle in, allowing talents to be ready at any time and place.

This is the long-term “path” that this city, which has been recognized as the “most livable city” for 17 consecutive years and rated as “China’s Best Talent Attraction City” for 7 consecutive years, adheres to, and it is the “far-sighted” vision of a city aiming for higher levels of development and more enduring vitality.
