On March 24, at the Global Free Trade Port Development Forum of the Boao Asia Forum 2026 Annual Conference, Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive John Lee stated that as the world enters a period of high turbulence, Hong Kong is committed to responding to uncertainties with an open rather than isolated approach. Lee shared that Hong Kong is focusing on three directions to promote shared growth opportunities: first, continuing to expand the global trade network; second, making good use of the network to connect investors with opportunities; third, promoting regional economic development and prosperity.
