On March 28, People’s Financial News reported that the Ministry of Finance’s website announced that on March 23, Vice Minister of Finance Liao Min met with Chairman of the U.S.-China Business Council, Tan Sen, in Beijing for in-depth discussions on issues related to China-U.S. economic and trade relations.
Liao Min, at the invitation, introduced the situation of the China-U.S. Paris economic and trade consultations, emphasizing that China is willing to develop bilateral economic and trade relations with the U.S. on the basis of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation principles.
He welcomed U.S. companies to continue deepening their engagement in China and further expand their investment in China.
He hopes that the U.S.-China Business Council will continue to play a good role as a bridge and link.
Tan Sen stated that under the current circumstances, China has become an important stabilizing force globally, and the American public’s favorable view of China is also continually improving.
The U.S. business community is highly concerned about the proposed establishment of the U.S.-China trade and investment cooperation mechanism and welcomes Chinese companies to invest in the U.S. to deepen economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
