Zaozhuang Open University delivers a typical speech at the province-wide open education enrollment work conference.

Recently, the province-wide open education enrollment work seminar for the spring semester of 2026 was successfully held in Jinan. Zaozhuang Open University gave a typical speech at the meeting.

Zaozhuang Open University has achieved significant results since its first enrollment in the spring of 2024. In 2024, it enrolled 1,306 students, ranking fourth in the province. In 2025, it enrolled 1,640 students, a year-on-year increase of 25.57%, ranking second in the province for enrollment of over 10,000 students, firmly placing it in the first tier of the six newly established open universities in the province. As a new force in the province’s open education sector, our school was invited to give a typical speech, systematically sharing innovative ideas and distinctive practices in enrollment work around three dimensions: “strategic planning, tackling challenges, and planning for the future.”

This typical speech at the provincial meeting not only fully affirms the enrollment and educational achievements of Zaozhuang Open University but also serves as a strong incentive for future development. Going forward, Zaozhuang Open University will take this meeting as an opportunity to earnestly learn from the advanced experiences of other peer institutions, practice its original intent through hard work, pursue development through innovation, continue to expand enrollment scale, solidify educational foundations, enhance educational connotations, and strengthen core competitiveness, contributing more Zaozhuang wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of open education in the province.
