Boeing’s CFO, Jay Malave, stated that 2025 was a “good year” for the company, marking significant recovery after a tumultuous 2024. Commercial Airplanes delivered 600 aircraft, the most since 2018, and the company reacquired Spirit AeroSystems, leading to a 40% drop in defect rates. Boeing’s delayed 737 MAX 7 and MAX 10 variants are on track for certification and their defense unit is expected to return to positive margins, though no new aircraft programs are planned in the near future.
