Turkish Ministry of Defense: NATO intercepts a missile from Iran

On the 4th, the Turkish Ministry of Defense stated on social media that NATO forces deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean successfully intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Iran. The Turkish Ministry of Defense indicated that a ballistic missile launched from Iran was detected flying towards Turkish airspace after passing through Iraqi and Syrian airspace, and was subsequently intercepted and destroyed by NATO’s defense system, with parts of the missile debris scattered in the Dörtyol district of Hatay province, Turkey.
