[Caixin] Amid the conflict between the U.S. and Iran, the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2026 has commenced. At a press conference held on March 24, Boao Forum Secretary-General Zhang Jun stated that the question of where the world is heading has become a significant topic for everyone.

He also pointed out that Asia has an important mission in promoting global economic growth, leading the transformation of the world economy, improving global governance, and maintaining global stability, playing a key role in these areas.

Since the outbreak of hostilities on February 28, the Middle East conflict has entered its fourth week.
