On March 27, BlackRock’s tokenized fund BUIDL has introduced oracle provider Chronicle as a new verification solution. According to a Tuesday announcement, Chronicle’s “Proof of Assets” system will provide “independently verified, holdings-level data” viewable on the Chronicle dashboard, which “continuously proves the availability, timeliness, and integrity of the fund’s asset composition.” Chronicle Proof of Assets is an institutional-grade oracle layer that retrieves data directly from custodians and administrators. BUIDL is currently the largest tokenized fund, managing approximately $1.7 billion in U.S. Treasury bills, repurchase agreements, and cash assets.
