People’s Financial News, March 25 — China Eastern Airlines (600115) announced on March 25 that the company has signed a “Purchase Agreement for 101 A320NEO Series Aircraft” with Airbus, purchasing 101 A320NEO series aircraft from Airbus. The aircraft are scheduled to be delivered to the company in batches from 2028 to 2032. The total list price of these aircraft is approximately $15.802 billion. Based on the central parity rate of RMB to USD announced by the People’s Bank of China on the date of signing this transaction agreement (1 USD = 6.8911 RMB), the equivalent is about 108.893 billion RMB.
