BlockBeats News, March 26: The United States has been continuously releasing signals for US-Iran peace talks in recent days, yet has been repeatedly undermined by Iran. Trump administration officials stated that the White House is working to arrange a meeting this weekend in Pakistan to discuss solutions to the Iran crisis, and US Vice President Vance may travel to Pakistan this weekend to participate in talks with Iran. The United States simultaneously insists that it has not received any signals of Iran rejecting talks.

At the same time, Iran took a hardline stance, stating that ceasefires and negotiations are not feasible at the current stage, and laid out five conditions for ceasefire: complete cessation of aggression and assassinations, ensuring that war will not be imposed on Iran again, war reparations, ending the war on all fronts and by all resistance organizations, and recognition of Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz. Iran simultaneously issued a hardline warning that if Iran's hostile forces occupy Iranian islands, Iran may open a new front in the Strait of Mandeb.

According to PolyBeats monitoring, currently on the prediction market Polymarket, the probability of a US-Iran ceasefire this month is 14%, and the probability of a ceasefire by the end of next month is 50%.
