Marshall Islands Universal Basic Income Project Receives $3 Million Investment Support from Crypto-Backed Individuals

Odaily Planet Daily reports that M1X Global, the company behind the Marshall Islands Universal Basic Income (UBI) project, announced the completion of a $3 million angel round funding. Investors include several industry executives with backgrounds in crypto and finance. The new funds will be used to promote the development and application of USDM1 digital sovereign bonds. USDM1 is a dollar-pegged sovereign financial instrument designed to support local residents’ participation in the UBI program. The asset was launched on Stellar in December 2025. It is reported that in the future, it will expand to the institutional market and be used as high-quality collateral. (Cointelegraph)
