March 19 - 77 Crypto Sharing:
The Federal Reserve maintained interest rates unchanged at 3.5%-3.75% in its March meeting, with Governor Milanulni believing a 25 basis point rate cut is warranted. The dot plot maintains expectations of one rate cut each in this year and next, but the outlook has become more hawkish.
Due to stubborn inflation + Middle East (Iran) situation uncertainty, oil prices are volatile, and economic outlook is unclear. Market bets on full-year rate cuts from the Fed have been reduced from approximately 20 basis points to less than 11 basis points. Rate cut hopes have diminished.
Affected by this, risk assets are under pressure. $BTC plummeted from the pre-FOMC high of around $74,272 last night, touching a low of $70,462, currently trading around $71,170 (24h decline of approximately 5%).
If the 4-hour rebound cannot quickly recover above $74,000, it can be considered complete. Short-term focus on $70,500 support; a break could potentially lead to a drop to the $66,000-$68,000 range. Wave trading is recommended as the main strategy, with stop-loss set at the lower end of the range.
$ETH recently surged to around $2,154, currently trading around $2,190-$2,200
This once again validates the historical pattern: out of 9 recent Fed meetings, BTC declined after 8 decisions, same as this time.
U.S. stock indices fell across the board - Dow fell 1.63%, S&P 500 fell 1.36%, Nasdaq fell 1.46%.
Today's Highlights:
1️⃣ Pop Mart collaborates with Sony Pictures to film LABUBU as a live-action animated movie, with scripts by Steven Levenson and Paul King; meme coin $LABUBU heat continues to rise.
2️⃣ Nasdaq and Kraken promote stock tokenization; if SEC approves, it will become a major catalyst for the RWA track, driving real-world assets on-chain with long-term growth potential worth noting.
3️⃣ $hype rises as ecosystem project trade obtains official S&P 500 authorization, launching new S&P 500 perpetual contracts.
5️⃣ Bittensor (TAO): Covenant-72B model deployment completed on Subnet, potentially enhancing decentralized AI capabilities; next catalyst is model performance verification (TBD).
