Here are three key takeaways from Nvidia’s GTC 2026 keynote:

1. Nvidia CEO Highlights $1 Trillion AI Infrastructure Opportunity

The biggest headline from the keynote was Jensen Huang’s update on demand. He said Nvidia now sees about $1 trillion in purchase orders through 2027 for its Blackwell and upcoming Vera Rubin systems.

That estimate is double the company’s earlier projection of a $500 billion opportunity tied to the two chip platforms. Nvidia also expects growth in 2026 to exceed what it previously included in that forecast.

Huang said demand is rising as companies move from experimenting with AI to deploying it across real-world applications. This shift is driving a sharp increase in computing needs.

2. New Deals Expand Nvidia’s Reach

Nvidia also highlighted several partnerships that expand how its technology is used.

Ride-hailing company Uber UBER +1.81% ▲ plans to launch self-driving vehicle fleets powered by Nvidia’s Drive AV software in 28 cities by 2028. Automakers including Nissan NSANY +0.89% ▲ , BYD BYDDY +8.06% ▲ , and Geely GELYF +1.59% ▲ are building autonomous vehicles using Nvidia’s Drive Hyperion platform.

Nvidia also announced deals with Salesforce CRM +2.86% ▲ and Amazon AMZN +1.96% ▲ . Salesforce will use Nvidia’s AI models to power AI agents on its Agentforce platform, while Amazon is working with Nvidia to bring Alexa voice assistants to cars using Nvidia’s DRIVE platform.

The company also introduced NemoClaw, a toolkit that helps businesses build AI agents using Nvidia hardware.

3. Groq 3 and Vera Rubin Take Center Stage

On the hardware side, Nvidia introduced the Groq 3 language processing unit, a chip designed to speed up AI inference — the stage where models generate responses. The chip will be used alongside Nvidia’s upcoming Vera Rubin platform, a large AI system expected to launch later this year.

Nvidia said Vera Rubin could deliver up to 10 times more performance per watt than its predecessor, an important improvement as energy use becomes a major challenge for AI data centers.

With strong demand for its AI platforms and growing adoption across industries, Nvidia is positioning itself at the center of the next wave of AI infrastructure.

Is NVDA Stock a Buy?

Nvidia’s stock has a consensus Strong Buy rating among 39 Wall Street analysts. That rating is based on 38 Buy and one Hold recommendations issued in the past three months. The average NVDA price target of $273.61 implies 49.33% upside from current levels.
