US crude oil futures fell about 5.3%, with Brent crude closing above the $100 psychological level for the third consecutive day

Gelonghui, March 17 — WTI April crude oil futures fell $5.21, nearly 5.28%, to $93.50 per barrel. Brent May crude oil futures rose $2.93, up 2.84%, to $100.21 per barrel. Middle Eastern Abu Dhabi Murban crude oil futures dropped 6.68%, to $106.72 per barrel, with a significant plunge after 16:00 Beijing time. NYMEX April natural gas futures closed at $3.0230 per million British thermal units. NYMEX April gasoline futures closed at $3.0003 per gallon, and NYMEX March heating oil futures closed at $3.8375 per gallon.
