NVDA | Nvidia Expects Blackwell and Rubin Chips to Generate at Least $1 Trillion in Sales by End of Next Year
NVIDIA, an American artificial intelligence (AI) chip manufacturer, CEO Jensen Huang, stated that by the end of 2027, NVIDIA’s Blackwell and Rubin chips are expected to generate at least $1 trillion in revenue.
NVIDIA previously projected that by the end of 2026, sales of these chips would reach $500 billion.
Huang Huang said at the annual AI event GTC on Monday that demand for these two chips continues to grow among startups and large enterprises. The company’s goal is that from 2025 to 2027, revenue related to data centers will reach at least $1 trillion, with 60% of the business targeting hyperscalers.
NVIDIA plans to launch Vera Rubin later this year, claiming that the system consists of 1.3 million components and that its performance per watt will be 10 times that of the previous Grace Blackwell product.
In February, the chip manufacturer stated that operating income for this quarter would grow approximately 77% year-over-year, reaching about $78 billion. NVIDIA has achieved over 55% operating income growth for 11 consecutive quarters.
