Abstract generation in progress

Exosomes are a popular product in the recent medical aesthetics market. According to multiple medical publications and industry insiders, the “miraculous substance” called exosomes that influencers promote are actually bioactive substances secreted during stem cell cultivation. However, in the medical and academic communities, the mechanisms of action, clinical testing, and other medical procedures related to these substances are still unclear, and most research remains at the academic and theoretical stage. According to reports, in June 2025, the National Medical Products Administration’s Center for Drug Evaluation issued a draft for public comment, proposing to regulate exosomes with therapeutic functions that rely on active ingredients. However, this is only a draft for feedback. The goal is to control such substances from entering society and prevent misuse or improper use. As of now, China has not approved any exosome-based drugs for market sale. (CCTV Finance)
