Odaily Planet Daily reports that French police have arrested two minors and a 35-year-old man. The three are suspected of carrying out two armed hijacking incidents targeting cryptocurrency holders on March 10. The first attempt was at a residence in a southern Paris suburb, where they tried to break in but failed. About 30 minutes later, they broke into another female cryptocurrency holder’s home, kidnapping her family and stealing jewelry. Police deployed approximately 100 armed officers and two helicopters to pursue the suspects for about six hours, recovering stolen goods from the suspect vehicle. The prosecution has charged the three with organized crime, armed robbery, kidnapping, and extortion, with two already in custody awaiting trial. (dlnews)
