Tom Lee: US Stocks Expected to Hit New Highs, But Bear Market May Come Later This Year

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Tom Lee stated in a recent CNBC interview that U.S. stocks still have short-term upward momentum, and he expects the S&P 500 to continue rising over the next few weeks. However, the U.S. stock market will enter a bear market this year, although it will first climb to new record highs. He believes that software stocks, the “Big Seven,” and cryptocurrencies have already experienced adjustments, and the speculative bubble has been somewhat deflated. Additionally, Lee pointed out that rising oil prices are actually beneficial for the U.S. economy and capital inflows because the U.S., as an energy exporter, will benefit from relative growth.
