The proposal was submitted by Anza last year, with the core content introducing p-token (a token model with higher computational efficiency), which can increase the computational efficiency of Solana transactions and payments by up to 19 times, significantly reduce the cost of token transfers, and thus improve network capacity. The upgrade is expected to be deployed to mainnet in April of this year.
