People’s Financial News, March 13 — On March 12, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Finance jointly held a nationwide teleconference to promote the implementation of the elderly care service consumption subsidy program. The meeting aimed to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the National Two Sessions and accelerate the rollout of the subsidy program. The meeting required local authorities to adhere to goal-oriented and effectiveness-driven approaches, take strong measures, liberate thinking, broaden ideas, continuously amplify the effects of subsidy projects, and speed up their implementation and results. Focus should be on the needs of the elderly, further improve the accessibility and convenience of services; motivate various service providers to actively participate, and continuously expand effective supply; optimize information systems and service platforms, and improve payment experiences; establish comprehensive supervision of services and funds throughout the entire chain, and firmly safeguard safety.
