Iran's Foreign Minister: The so-called "security umbrella" of the United States is riddled with flaws

People’s Financial News, March 15 — On March 15, local time, Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian posted on social media stating that the U.S. claims of serving as a “security umbrella” for Gulf countries over the years are full of loopholes. This has not only failed to serve as a deterrent but has also become a source of regional tension and crisis. Abdollahian called on neighboring countries to expel U.S. troops and emphasized that the primary goal of U.S. forces stationed in the Middle East is to protect Israeli interests, not to maintain regional security.
