Iran Claims Resistance Forces Downed U.S. Military Tanker, All Crew Members Killed
Odaily Planet Daily reports that, according to Iran’s national television today (March 13), citing the Central Command of Hatam Anbia, a U.S. military refueling aircraft was shot down by a missile launched by resistance groups in western Iraq, and all crew members were killed.
According to The Wall Street Journal: U.S. officials stated that two aircraft were involved in the crash, with one aircraft crashing and the other, also a KC-135 refueling aircraft, safely landing. It is reported that the aircraft did not have ejection seats. (Jin10)
