The Director of the Palace of Versailles Takes Over as Director of the Louvre Museum

French government spokesperson Christophe Lecuyer announced on the 25th at a press conference that Christophe LeriBo, the head of Versailles Palace, has been appointed as the director of the Louvre Museum, succeeding Laurence de Car who resigned the previous day. Lecuyer said that the cabinet meeting on the 25th approved the appointment, and LeriBo will be responsible for advancing the Louvre’s security and modernization plans, as well as the two major projects: “Louvre New Renaissance.” (CCTV News)
