Since February, 50 pilot cities across the country have gradually launched lottery activities for prize-winning invoices. The bonus pool for the nine-day Spring Festival holiday will exceed 1 billion yuan. Recently, many consumers have shared their winning invoices. Data shows that by 24:00 last night, over 300,000 invoices from Chengdu and Luzhou, two pilot cities in Sichuan, participated in the lottery; in Jiangsu, Suzhou had 296,000 participants, with about 500,000 valid invoices uploaded, and a total prize payout of 10,251,200 yuan.

It is understood that some consumers could not participate in the lottery because their uploaded invoices did not meet the activity requirements. The tax authorities remind participants that invoices involved in the lottery must meet certain criteria regarding the purchase amount, recipient name, and issuance date. Zhang Jiangang, Director of the Tax Collection and Technology Development Department at the Ningbo Tax Bureau of the State Taxation Administration, explained that the invoice must include the consumer’s personal name as the purchaser, the invoice date must be within the activity period, and the single invoice amount must be at least 100 yuan.
