Unbelievable

The headache-inducing social security dilemma was broken down in one sentence by a elementary school student.
This kid said: If we directly give the social security money that parents pay each month to grandparents for their retirement, wouldn't they have money to spend?
When the parents get old, I’ll give them my social security money to use. This way, it’s passed down from generation to generation, and the retirement problem is solved, right?
Even more clever, people who don’t have children will have no one to support them when they’re old. Doesn’t this encourage everyone to have children?
Honestly, this logic is really flawless. What do you all think about this idea?
