According to CoinWorld, three informed sources revealed that the Trump administration has asked Israel to cease further airstrikes on Iran's energy facilities, especially its oil infrastructure. It is said to be the first clear restraint on Israeli military actions since the start of joint US-Israel military operations against Iran. The reasons for the US request include the potential to drive up global oil prices and provoke Iran to carry out large-scale retaliation against energy infrastructure in the Gulf region. The sources stated that the Trump administration considers targeting Iran's oil facilities a "last resort," to be taken only if Iran first attacks energy facilities of Gulf countries.
